Services offered

  • Counselling: Unlimited telephonic access to counselling, health information and education from registered health professionals to deal with issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship and marriage problems, parenting, abuse, rape and trauma.
  • Managerial Support: Exclusive coaching, orientation sessions and support for managers, to assist them in coping with stressful situations, manage employees and equip them with more effective interpersonal skills.
  • Legal Advice: Advice, information and discounted legal services to deal with issues such as divorce, maintenance, law suites, getting arrested, garnishee orders, repossessions, black listings etc.
  • Financial Advice: Advice and support for common financial problems such as debt, budgeting, loan finance, tax, wills and estate planning.

Financial Wellness with Zoluhle Financial Wellness

Financial stress has a negative impact on both our personal and professional lives.

Wits has partnered with Zoluhle Financial Wellness to help employees improve their financial literacy and take steps to financial wellbeing.

Zoluhle offers support and advice around home purchasing, vehicle purchasing, debt reviews, credit coaching and advice.

Campus Health and Wellness Centre

The Centre offers convenient and accessible health services to Wits students and staff members. 

The CHWC is a registered professional medical practice. All patients' records are confidential. Information regarding a patient will only be released with written permission from the patient if court-ordered or in the case of a threatening illness.

Counselling and Careers Development Unit (CCDU)

The CCDU is staffed by a dedicated team of professionals inclusive of psychologists, social workers, careers educators, life coaches and administrators who offer supportive services, including a variety of empowering programmes to the student community, to enhance their well-being and academic success.

Emthonjeni Centre

The Emthonjeni Centre is a multidisciplinary Centre initiative of the Wits School of Human and Community Development. Services from several disciplines are offered to the public, including, Psychology, Social work, Speech pathology and Audiology.
