Brett Pyper is a Principal Investigator of Arts Research Africa and former Head of the Wits School of Arts. He is a South African cultural practitioner with over thirty years¡¯ experience advancing and studying the country¡¯s transitions in the arts.

Christo Doherty is Director of the Arts Research Africa project, and Deputy Head of the Wits School of Arts. He is also chair of the School¡¯s Research Committee.

Zanele Madiba is a Project Coordinator/Artistic Research Manager of the Arts Research Africa project and Theatre Critic. She holds an MA in Arts and Culture Management from Wits University.
