Professor of Physical Geography, School of Geography, Archaeology and Environmental Studies, and member of the South African Young Academy of Science (SAYAS), the African Councillor of the International Society of Biometeorology, and the Past-President of the Society of South African Geographers. Jennifer serves as the Associate Editor of the South African Journal of Science, and on the editorial board of the International Journal of Biometeorology, Environment and Planning F, The Holocene and Global and Planetary Change.

Jill Bradbury is Associate Professor of Psychology at Wits, Co-director of Postgraduate Curriculum Development in the Research Office, and Director of the Wits Doctoral Academy. She is an Honorary Research Fellow of UCL (University College, London) and a member of the advisory boards of NARRARE (Centre for interdisciplinary Narrative Studies, Finland), The Discourse Unit (UK), and ANRP (Association for Narrative Research and Practice, UK).

 

She is principal investigator of the NEST (Narrative Enquiry for Social Transformation) research project. Her research focuses on intergenerational narratives, socio-historical theories of personhood, and the (im)possibilities of individual and social change.

She is passionate about the transformation of higher education and highly experienced in curriculum innovation and critical pedagogies. She is widely published in the fields of educational and narrative psychology, and the author of the book, Narrative psychology and Vygotsky in Dialogue: Changing Subjects (Routledge, 2020).

Dr Yolanda Davids

Dr. Yolanda Davids, is the Deputy Director of Research at the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS). She holds a PhD in Business Management from North-West University, a Masters in Commerce from the University of Johannesburg, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of the Western Cape.

She has dedicated herself to the advancement of research and academia. Before joining our WITS, she served for 12 years at the National Research Foundation, where she played a pivotal role as the Director of Grants, focusing on 足球竞彩app排名 and Postdoctoral Support.

Her expertise is not just in the realm of academic achievements but also in the practical aspects of research management, including pre and post-award processes and student funding. She is passionate about nurturing the next generation of scholars and researchers, and her role at WITS encompasses guiding and supporting our postgraduate students through their academic journeys.

Katlego Khoetha

Mr Katlego Khoetha holds a master’s degree in the field of digital business from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) and his research focuses on the adoption of digital platforms for student services within Wits. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management which he completed through Wits Business School and a BCom IT degree. He is internationally certified as TOGAF Business Architect and ComTia IT professional.

He has a wealth of expertise in business analysis and process management. He serves on the University of the Witwatersrand e-Research and Enterprise Architecture Governance committees as evidence of his dedication to academic success. In his acting role as the Head of IT Systems in the Research Office, he oversees a dynamic landscape of postgraduate systems, streamlining postgraduate administrative processes, embracing cutting-edge technology trends and identifying key market drivers of innovation to support the Head of Postgraduate Strategy and Innovation within Wits. He is also serving in the permanent role as the Manager of Business Process and Analyst teams within the Wits ICT department.
