Metmar appoints new director

Johannesburg, South Africa --- MININGREVIEW.COM --- 27 September 2011 - JSE-listed commodities trading company Metmar Limited has appointed Dawn Earp as an independent non-executive director of the company, and as a member of its audit and risk committee.
Announcing this appointment in a statement issued here, the company said it would take effect from 1 October 2011.
Mrs Earp is a CA (SA) and held executive finance positions in several Anglo American companies over an 18 year period before joining Implats as director of finance in 2007. She is currently the financial director of Rand Refinery and is a non-executive director of Teba.
Earp graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 1986 and completed her articles with BDO.
