Overview

Curriculum
The part-time Bachelor of Commerce degree is a nine-course curriculum including two majors spread over three levels.
You earn points as you progress through courses, with a minimum total of 432 points required for completion of the degree, which can take you between 4 to 6 years as a part-time student.

Wait-listing
Applicants with an APS of 35-37, as well as English Level 6 and Mathematics Level 6, will be wait-listed subject to place availability.
Pre-2008 - Old Matric:
English Language requirement
First language: a minimum of 40% (E) at Higher Grade or Second language: a minimum of 40% (E) at Higher Grade.
Mathematics requirement
A minimum of 50% (D) at Higher Grade or a minimum of 60% (C) at Standard Grade.
足球竞彩app排名s with credits from Unisa or other South African universities may be considered for certain credits or exemptions, on condition that they meet the entry requirements as detailed above.
足球竞彩app排名s who meet all the above entrance requirements, but who narrowly miss the Mathematics requirement, may consider completing the Maths for Access certificate course for a year (offered by Wits Plus). If they pass Maths for Access with an average of at least 70%, they can apply for admission to the BCom degree.

Compliance with the minimum requirements does not guarantee a place at the University. The University has a specific number of places for first year undergraduates, approved by the Department of Higher Education and Training. Final selection is made subject to the availability of places, academic results and other entry requirements where applicable.
