Overview
This major entails a grounding in real-world application of economic analysis in the field of economic policy from a development perspective; this grounding will be focused on South Africa as we hope to train graduates who can conceptualise effective responses to the country’s many developmental challenges.

Entry Requirements
Entry into ADE course:
The formal entry criteria for this major are the following 2nd-year level Economics courses: comprised of Intermediate Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International Economics (International Trade and International Finance), Mathematical Economics and Economic Statistics.
