Research opportunities
At AGTRU, we offer postgraduate and postdoctoral opportunities.

Our Aim
The Antiviral Gene Therapy Research Unit (AGTRU) is focused on providing postgraduate students with valuable training opportunities in the field of gene therapy. Our aim is to support and mentor the next generation of scientists interested in applying their knowledge to address viral infections.

Our Methods
At AGTRU, postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows are exposed to a research environment where they can develop their skills using nanotechnology and molecular biology techniques. These methods are central to our work in finding ways to counteract serious viral diseases.

Requirements
We welcome prospective MSc, PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows to join our team. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or Organic Chemistry.
