Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)

Looking for adventure? Here is a way for you to teach English abroad.

People are attracted to teaching English for different reasons. Whatever the reason, though, it’s a rewarding career and EFL teachers are in high demand around the world. It’s a fantastic chance to explore the world and see places many people dream of visiting.

Even if you’re only interested in teaching English for a year or two, a TEFL certificate opens up many opportunities. Experience another culture first-hand while living in a foreign country. Learn about different ways of thinking and the customs of others while building new friendships. Teaching abroad is also a great way to immerse yourself in a new language, which can have significant advantages in other fields should you decide you’ve had enough of teaching.

No matter what your plans for your EFL path, a TEFL certificate from Wits Language School will help you get started. Support doesn’t end with the course either: our trainers love hearing from graduates and their TEFL experiences – including any questions you have related to teaching.
