Karen Smuts Award
Awarded to the physiotherapy student who demonstrated the most improvement over the four years of study. The criteria for the award are: Academic improvement over four years and Clinical improvement and development over the two clinical years.
Jean Blair Award
For the student with the best results in Clinical Physiotherapy in 4th year who achieves not less than 70% for the course.
Jo Beenhaker Award
Awarded to the student with the best results in Physiotherapy 4th year who achieved not less than 70% for the course.
Alfred Rothberg Award
Awarded to the 4th year BSc (Physiotherapy) student with the best results in Rehabilitation II.
Molly Levy Award
Award for the student who attains the best overall mark in all first year subjects in the BSc Physiotherapy degree.
Muriel Goodman Award
Award for the student who attains the best overall mark in all second year subjects in the BSc (Physiotherapy) degree.
SASP Southern Gauteng Award
Awarded to the student who obtains the best overall mark in all third year subjects in the BSc (Physiotherapy) degree.
Barbara Machol Memorial Medal
Awarded annually to a BSc Physiotherapy 5rd year student who has obtained the best mark in Clinical Physiotherapy I.
Phillip Tobias Medal
Awarded annually for the most distinguished performance in the subject of Anatomy for Therapists, by a second-year student of Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
Raymond and Marjorie Dart Medal
A medal is awarded to the most distinguished candidate who has consistently performed well throughout the four years of study in BSc (Physiotherapy).
BSc in Physiotherapy Prize for Pharmacology
The student who achieves the highest mark for the course Pharmacology in the third year of the degree of Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy.
