The School provides high quality professional education for pharmacists, nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists who continue to make significant contributions to the national health sector by rendering professional services, focusing on health and wellness, exercise and rehabilitation. The School also prepares individuals for careers in biokinetics, exercise science and sports medicine.
The School offers a range of excellent and innovative curricula at both under- and postgraduate levels to prepare health professionals for the changing demands of health care in southern Africa.
The Sports Clinic at Wits operates within the School of Therapeutic Sciences and is part of Wits Institute of Sports. The clinic provides a high standard of medical and rehabilitation services to all athletes and the general public.
