Careers and employability

Choosing a career that matches your interests and goals is important for leading a fulfilling life. So is finding or creating work that is rewarding.

With so many programmes to choose from, and so many possible career directions, it can be hard to know what to choose. The Careers Service at Counselling and Careers Development Unit (CCDU) can help you to clarify your career goals so that you choose options that fit in with your interests.

The CCDU also offers students the Journey to Employability [JEm] programme which runs throughout the year and focuses on development for the job search process and world of work awareness.

The Graduate Recruitment Programme hosts a number of career exhibitions each year and aims to encourage contact between prospective Wits graduates and employers.

The Wits 足球竞彩app排名 Employment Portal is a portal listing part-time, vacation and casual work opportunities, as well as internships and graduate employment opportunities available to Wits students. The portal includes opportunities both within Wits and from external recruiters.

Wits alumni post job opportunities on the Alumni careers website. They also offer mentoring.
