Solutions to Climate Change

Global climate change and global warming is becoming an ever pressing issue for scientists and conservation specialists. The long term alteration of earth's energy balance has far reaching consequences for the current and future sustainability of the planet. A recent UN report states that the climate is changing at an unprecedented rate. These and other statistics show that environmental issues will soon become the greatest challenge to basic human rights and survival by creating structural inequalities. Wits University is pioneering a variety of avenues to be at the forefront of tackling this threat. Our courses relating to conservation and environmental solutions provide graduates with expertise in addressing these issues and finding nuanced solutions. The following are some of the courses we offer that aim to produce quality postgraduates who will find solutions to the current crisis.
