Your journey begins here with the Gateway to Success (GTS) Programme
The Gateway to Success (GTS) programme runs from Tuesday, 20 January 2026 to Monday, 2 February 2026, and is designed to help you orientate yourself to the University, connect with peers and support services, and thrive as a first-year student. Over the two exciting weeks, you’ll dive into a jam-packed blend of academic learning, student life, health and wellness, and campus orientation — all aimed at preparing you for success at Wits.
GTS is a compulsory, blended programme, meaning you’ll take part in both on-campus and online sessions that set the tone for your university experience.
