Research and Publications
Our school is home to active research groups that contribute to the advancement of both Statistical and Actuarial Science. Our staff members and research students address complex challenges ranging from public health data analysis to insurance product design and climate risk modelling. Research takes place at both a theoretical and applied level. We have a keen interest in interdisciplinary research that aims to understand and contribute meaningfully to global challenges.
Most academic staff in the School are either actively involved in research or are studying for Masters or PhD degrees.
We welcome applications for post-doctoral students, and especially visiting lecturers who wish to spend all or part of their sabbatical, or their retirement, collaborating with researchers in the school.
