President Cyril Ramaphosa says the G20 Inequality Committee Report provides very clear guidelines on how the G20 countries should address inequalities. The report about global inequalities was officially handed over to Ramaphosa on Tuesday by a panel of experts he established to probe main causes of inequalities globally. The report's findings reveals that wealth inequality is far higher than income inequality globally. Between 2000 and 2024, the richest 1% captured 41% of all new wealth, while the bottom half of humanity received just 1%.
