Academic Programmes
The Department of Oral Rehabilitation Teaches undergraduate students in Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) I – V in removable and fixed prosthodontics. The staff also teach 2nd year students in the Bachelor of Oral Health Sciences – Oral Hygiene track.
Postgraduate students may enroll in the Master of Dentistry in the branch of Prosthodontics programme, in order to qualify as a specialist prosthodontist. The Department also offers Master of Science in Dentistry programmes, which can be achieved by coursework and a research report, or by research (dissertation) only. A separate Master of Science in Dentistry in the field of Digital Operative Dentistry is also offered.
The members of the Department of Oral Rehabilitation are involved in several research projects on various aspects of prosthodontics, restorative dentistry, endodontics as well as in craniomandibular disorders
