The objective of the course is to expose, teach and train students in the field of Oral Medicine, Periodontology and Oral Implantology, using principles of best dental practice that is based on scientific evidence, so that they qualify as knowledgeable and skilled oral health practitioners and specialist, eligible for registration in the field, with the Health Professions’ Council of South Africa.
