Specialized Clinics

Various clinics are held in the department of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery. The outpatient clinics are scheduled on specific days in the month and patients are seen by both full – time and part – time consultants as well as registrars, together with members of other specialties, such as the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Dieticians and the Department of Oral Rehabilitation. As far as it is possible a multidisciplinary clinic for the various subdivisions of maxillofacial and oral surgery is maintained to achieve the most correct diagnosis, treatment plan and treatment.

Scheduling of the Department of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery clinics on a monthly basis is as follows:

  • Outpatients clinic at CMJAH -        Weekly on Monday and Friday (Morning)
  • Outpatients clinic at CHBAH -        Weekly on Monday, Wednesday and                                           Friday mornings
  • Orthognathic clinic                 -        Alternate Monday (Mornings)
  • Craniofacial clinic                  -         Last Thursday of every month (Morning)
  • Implant clinic                         -         Last Thursday of every month (Afternoon)
  • Oral Pathology seminars        -         Second Wednesday of every month                                        (Afternoon)
