Congratulations to Professor Gavin Norton, and Professor Viness Pillay who were recently honoured with the Gold Scientific Achievement Award.
Congratulations to Professor Gavin Norton, Director of the Cardiovascular Pathophysiology and Genomics Research Unit, School of Physiology and Professor Viness Pillay, Director of the Wits Advanced Drug Delivery Platform Research Unit, School of Therapeutic Sciences who were recently honoured with the Gold Scientific Achievement Award by the South African Medical Research Council.
The Gold Scientific Achievement Award is awarded to outstanding South African scientists who have contributed to raising the profile of science in South Africa.
Professors Norton and Pillay will receive the Gold Scientific Achievement Award at a Gala Dinner on the 13th October 2016.
We congratulate both Professors Norton and Pillay on this remarkable accomplishment.
