The School congratulates it’s 2025 Investigational Project winners

The annual Investigational Project (IP) Presentations and Poster Competition was held on Friday, 21 November 2025. Final year students were provided with an opportunity to present their research to their families, peers, academics, and the School’s industry partners.

Six (6) presentations were selected to compete for THE ERROL KERST IP PRESENTATION PRIZES, which were sponsored by a 1975 SoCEE alumnus, Mr. Errol Kerst. Mr Kerst was present and handed the prizes to the winning presenters.

Thirty-six (36) posters were exhibited in the Hillman Building for the Poster Competition.

In her capacity as the outgoing Gender and Transformation Officer, Ms Kgalalelo Sebolai raised awareness about Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF). Her voice made a positive impact on the conversations about the topic and highlighted the support that is available to students in the School and the University.
