Postgraduate Courses include technical subjects for specialist skills in mining, mineral resource management and evaluation, and rock engineering, as well as management skills in evaluation techniques and fundamental mineral economic principles.

Postgraduate Programmes

MSc (Eng) - Mining Engineering

Postgraduate
1 - 2 years
Full-time; Part-time

The Master of Science in Mining Engineering by dissertation or by coursework and research report is a 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time degree.

PhD - Mining Engineering

Postgraduate
2 - 4 years
Full-time; Part-time

The Doctor of Philosophy in Mining Engineering is taken over a minimum period of 2 years full-time or 4 years part-time.
