The Southern African Journal of Information and Communication (SAJIC)
Published by the Wits LINK Centre from 2000 to 2008, The Southern African Journal of Information and Communication (SAJIC) was the precursor to today's The African Journal of Information and Communication (AJIC), which commenced publication in 2010. As with today's AJIC, SAJIC was a peer-reviewed, open access academic journal accredited by the South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
SAJIC published nine issues, between 2000 and 2009: SAJIC Issues 1 through 9. AJIC's first issue was Issue 10. SAJIC's articles are archived and indexed by the Sabinet open access archive, and the Wits University WIReDSpace open access institutional repository.
