Water security and climate change in Africa: Unprecedented climate hazard combinations are playing out across Africa against rapidly changing socioeconomic conditions including population growth, urbanisation and infrastructure development. This is generating a shifting landscape of risk and threats to water security alongside ongoing challenges in effective service delivery.
Prof. Declan Conway will profile two examples of research on these topics and outline new work applying behavioural approaches for water security. Declan's research cuts across climate, water and society.
