Physiotherapy
The Postgraduate Diploma is offered in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy (NMS) or in Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy.
Overview
The Postgraduate Diploma is completed over a period of two years. The distribution of courses is Pathology, Anatomy and Physiology lectures and practical in the first year and the area of specialisation (NMS or Sport) in the second year.
Intake (Year 1) is every second year only, eg intake in 2025 for Year 1 in 2026.
Curriculum
The Pathology, Anatomy and Physiology courses consist of four face-to-face contact weeks consisting of lectures (blended learning) and practical spread out throughout the first year. The final examinations are performed over a period of two to three weeks at the end of the year.
The specialisation course consists of five face-to-face contact weeks consisting of lectures (blended learning), workshops and clinical exposure spread out throughout the year. 足球竞彩app排名s are expected to be working clinically in the area of specialty. The final examinations are performed over a period of two weeks at the end of the year.
Entry Requirements
- Applicants must hold a BSc/B(Physiotherapy) degree
- Applicants must show evidence of one year clinical experience (which can be community service / internship year)
- Registration with the HPCSA

If you hold a foreign qualification, you must submit proof of evaluation of your qualification by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Once your application is complete in terms of requested documentation, your application will be referred to the relevant School for assessment. - Selections for programmes that have a limited intake but attract a large number of applications may only finalise the application at the end of the application cycle.
