I am working at Sterkfontein Hospital as a specialist psychiatrist and managing the HIV clinic. In March 2022, I enrolled as a fellow for subspeciality training in neuropsychiatry. I obtained my FCPsych (SA) and MMed Psych (Wits) in 2015, a diploma in HIV management (SA) in 2010. I have an MBCHB degree from Walter Sisulu University WSU in 2005. I was born in a small town called Mthatha in Eastern Cape, a last born of six children a “laatlammetjie”. I am married with two children and am passionate about caring for mentally ill patients. I believe that all people matter equally, and everyone deserves a chance to be treated with kindness and love. I hope to finish my training by 2024 and be a neuropsychiatrist.
