OUT-PATIENT CARE

The out-patient care is provided by the Paediatric Out-Patients Department (POPD) and the Paediatric Specialist Clinics.

Rahima Moosa has a busy POPD that is open on weekdays from 8am to 4pm. They have three full-time and two part-time senior staff members. There are another 4 junior doctors at any point in this unit.

The POPD attends to patients referred from local clinics or referral hospitals as well as those referred from private practitioners. No booking is required but a letter of referral is a prerequisite.
