Klerksdorp/Tshepong Hospital
One of the two hospitals forming Klerksdorp/Tshepong hospital complexin the North West Province. It caters for Dr Kenneth Kaunda District. It is also a referral centres for Dr Segomotso Mompati District, in the Province.
It has been a satellite for the University of the Witwatersrand, since 2003, with one registra rotating for two months at a time. As of January 2015, two registras are rotating for two months. The department is run by one full time consultant, 2 partimers, and 3 sessional doctors. The sessionals only help with over time work. The department also has a lot of medical officers writtung the Diploma in Child Health, Diploma in HIV, and FC Paed Part 1, with success.
