Division of Neurolgy

The Division of Paediatric Neurology assists in the diagnosis and management of children with neurological disorders. Children with acute and chronic neurological problems such as Stroke, Epilepsy, Movement disorders, Cerebral palsy, metabolic and neurodegenerative disorders are managed by our division.  This service is provided at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, and Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital.   Patients referred from Southern, Western, and Eastern Gauteng including SOWETO, and the North West Province attends the busy in and outpatient service.

The Division of Paediatric Neurology is affiliated with the University of the Witwatersrand.
