Bus Services: Provides reliable student transport across Braamfontein and Parktown campuses and residences through dynamically scheduled circuit buses aligned with the University academic calendar. Additionally, the unit oversees the hospital bus service for Health Sciences students travelling to designated clinical training sites across Gauteng.
Field Trips and Ad Hoc Transport: Coordinates passenger transport for academic, administrative, and student-related activities using both internal fleet resources and accredited external service providers to meet diverse travel requirements.
Fleet Management: Administers and oversees the University’s fleet in accordance with the approved Transport and Fleet Policy. Responsibilities include ensuring vehicle availability, operational readiness, compliance, maintenance coordination, and central management of fleet records to support University operations efficiently and safely.
