Things To Do

At Wits Rural Facility you can enjoy a peaceful nature walk, go bird watching, socialize in the rustic bar area or even just relax at the pool and breathe in the fresh rural air. We also currently have a number of programs running with the local villages where we are able to offer authentic tours of village life or enjoy a traditional show at our local Shangaan Village.

Bourke's Luck Potholes

Bourke's Luck Potholes

Bourke’s Luck Potholes in Mpumalanga Province are a series of natural geological formations formed by centuries of water flowing through the landscape, this natural attraction is made up of inter-connected pools, interlaced with sandstone outcrops. Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre

Moholoholo Rehab

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre at Moholoholo contributes to the conservation of endangered species and the rehabilitation of injured and poisoned wildlife. Moholoholo also facilitates a number of successful breeding programmes. There is no typical day at Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, anything can happen! Berlin Falls

These falls tumble down in a single drop for some 80 metres, or about 260 feet, before crashing dramatically into a round basin that is an irresistible Jade colour. The Berlin Falls are situated north of Graskop, in the Mpumalanga province, just 70km from the Kruger National Park. Pinnacle Rock

Pinnacle Rock

The Pinnacle Rock is a massive quartzite rock that erupts from the earth’s surface and reaches some 30 metres above the dense indigenous forest. There are public ablutions available here, as well as vendors sitting at this attraction selling African curious and keepsakes. God's Window and Wonder View

With magnificent views, canyons, rock formations and waterfalls, God's Window is truly an area of breathtaking scenic splendour. God's Window is a small part of a 250km long earthwork of sheer cliffs and extravagant beauty. There are curio stalls and toilet facilities at the parking area. Khamai Reptile Centre

Khamai Reptiles

There are different reptiles present in the Khamai Reptile Centre, such as crocodiles, lizards and snakes. Experienced handlers will show you some of Southern Africa’s most deadly snakes, including Black and Green Mambas, Boomslang, Mozambiquan Spitting Cobras, Puff Adders and Vine Snakes. The Kruger National Park

Lying in the heart of the Lowveld is a wildlife sanctuary like no other, its atmosphere so unique that it allows those who enter its vastness to immerse themselves in the unpredictability and endless wilderness that is the true quality of Africa.

Kruger National Park, in North-Eastern South Africa, is one of Africa��s largest game reserves. Its high density of wild animals includes the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hundreds of other mammals make their home here, as do diverse bird species such as vultures, eagles and storks. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape.
