Lesley Anne Gatter
Lesley-Anne joined Investec Ltd in 2006 and the following year was appointed Head of Learning & Development
In this role, she collaborated on the design and delivery of learning initiatives into the organisation, including diversity and leadership development. In 2016, she was appointed to her current position of Head of People & Organisation for Investec. In this capacity she leads Investec’s internal and external transformation initiatives, its work relating to equality (diversity and inclusion) practices and the employee life cycle and value proposition.
Lesley-Anne also serves on Investec’s Environmental, Social and Governance Executive Committee and she facilitates learning, leadership and other processes in the business.
Prior to joining Investec, she worked in various NGOs focusing on counselling, supervision and education pursuits. She has also lectured psychology in various academic settings. Her background has enabled her to acquire extensive skills and experience in the areas of personal development and leadership learning, and to apply these in the context of the goals of transformation, equality and diversity. She believes this would enable her to make a meaningful contribution to the work of Wits University in its ongoing commitment to achieving these self-same goals.
Educational Qualifications: MA (Psychology) University of the Witwatersrand.
