Wits gives you the edge, so it¡¯s been said, and the success that I¡¯ve enjoyed in my career as an attorney is largely because Wits gave me that edge.

I stood for election to Convocation Exco in 2012 as I wanted to give back to the institution that was such a springboard for me. I served one term but I’m, standing for election again as I wish to continue giving back – the debt of gratitude can never be repaid in full !

I believe that by giving to Wits the critical thinking skills and empathy that it taught me, and that by giving the skills, traits, and experience that I’ve gained during the 25 years since graduating as well, I can play a part in ensuring that continues to give the to its future graduates.
