Unlocking Futures: The Power of a Bursary

The video shares the stories of three students whose academic paths were transformed through bursary support. Bonola, studying architecture, explains how funding eased her family’s financial strain and enabled her to pursue her degrees. Luca, an electrical engineering master’s student, describes how the bursary relieved financial pressure, supported his research, and opened doors to academic opportunities. Ola, an education honours graduate, reflects on how the bursary helped her complete her studies and inspired her to uplift others through a teachers’ podcast.

Because Support Changes Everything

This video follows three postgraduate students whose academic journeys were made possible through bursary support. Amy completed her master’s in clinical microbiology within a year and advanced straight into a PhD thanks to the financial freedom to focus solely on her studies. Gabelo, a drama therapy student, used the support to pursue research he is passionate about and even collaborate on an international mental health summit. Kumo, studying African literature, shares how the bursary lifted the stress of tuition and accommodation, allowing her to grow academically and contribute to collaborative research.
