Aside from the four Nobel prize winners and 91 prestigious Rhodes Scholars emanating from Wits, the University has served as the foundation for entrepreneurs, activists, social scientists, leading business and legal stalwarts, musicians, artists, scientists, engineers, doctors and sportspersons.
